Lone Star College System employees are eligible for membership in a number of committees and organizations. This section contains detailed information on each of them.

American Federation of Teachers (AFT)
AFT offers its members advice and guidance as well as representation in conflict resolution and grievances.

Council for Education and Student Development (CESD)
The Council for Education and Student Development (CESD) provides leadership and support to the colleges to ensure quality services and educational programs for student success.

Continuing Education Council
The Continuing Education Council provides leadership to the colleges and community for workforce training, leisure and recreational pursuits, job upgrading, skill acquisition, and professional development.

(Lone Star College System) Marketing Council
The Lone Star College System Marketing Council brings together a broad representation of significant stakeholders to identify, prioritize, coordinate, clarify, and address marketing and communication opportunities that elevate the image, reputation and awareness of the district and its Colleges.

Student Services Council
The role of the Student Services Council is to provide leadership to insure quality student services are provided throughout the district.
